Swadeshi Jagran Manch will work in 739 districts for entrepreneurship development
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): National co-organizer of Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM), Satish Kumar, said he will work on developing entrepreneurship in all 739 districts of the country.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Kumar said, “Young people should be job providers instead of becoming job seekers. Previously, there was a well-established trend in India that agriculture was the first choice for the people and the industrial sector was the second choice and the lowest was service. But after the British, the trend changed and government jobs became first choice and industries remained second choice and agriculture slipped to third.
“We have to change it again in India. Secondly, we must change the mentality of young people so that they become job providers rather than job seekers. There are 37 million young people in India in the age bracket of 15 to 29, which is also a boon for the country,” Kumar added.
Kumar said, “I started a campaign from Jammu Kashmir from August 15 and it will peak on January 12, 2023. I have to promote entrepreneurship in the country. Kumar said, “In Bhopal, Swadeshi Jagran Manch held a workshop at Sagar Institute of Research & Technology (SIRT), Bhopal to motivate students to focus on other career prospects along with their studies.
The SJM organization would also perform the ‘Swawlambi Bharat Abhiyan’ and raise awareness about the need to use local produce to help boost the country’s economy. The abhiyan aims to provide jobs through entrepreneurship development and skills development,” he said.
