NIESBUD organizes a week of entrepreneurship development program

Srinagar- Dr. Poonam Sinha, Director, National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) Ministry of Skills Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India today inaugurated a program for the development of one week entrepreneurship for the youth of Jammu in association with NSTI Srinagar and Govt Polytechnic College for Women Jammu and Kashmir.

In his inaugural speech, Dr. Sinha highlighted the importance of the culture of entrepreneurship within the agricultural community and highlighted the various opportunities in the sector.

Dr. Sinha informed the participants about the different programs of NIESBUD and the various opportunities in the entrepreneurship sector. She expressed her views on the scope of entrepreneurship in Jammu and Kashmir, onboarding and mentoring entrepreneurs, adding value and marketing products nationally and internationally. She asked participating entrepreneurs to become job providers rather than job seekers. Dr. Sinha further stated that promoting the culture of entrepreneurship among the youth could make a big difference and contribute to the overall development of the economy.

Guest speakers on the occasion, including DK Singh, NIESBUD Chief Consultant, gave a detailed lecture on agripreneurship and agripreneurship opportunities, government programs and the support ecosystem for young people.
