NCC Bank conducts one-month training on “Entrepreneurship Development Program”

NCC Bank Ltd, with the cooperation of Bangladesh Bank’s SME and Special Programs Department, conducted a month-long training on “Entrepreneurship Development Program” under the “Investment in Skills for Employment (SEIP)” at the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD), Cumilla recently.

Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, Managing Director and CEO of NCC Bank presented certificates to the participants of the closing ceremony as the main guest while Md Arifuzzaman, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank; Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, Deputy Managing Director; Syed Hasnain Mamun, Head of HR Division and Md Solaiman-Al-Raji, Head of CMSME Division of NCC Bank and Md Zahid Iqbal, Deputy Director of Bangladesh Bank were also present on the occasion as special guests .

Additionally, Mohammad Nurul Hoque, Branch Manager of Cumilla and Md Robiul Hasan Bhuiya, Management Trainee of NCC Bank coordinated the workshop.

A total of 25 new entrepreneurs including 13 female entrepreneurs successfully completed the workshop and received their certificates, reads a press release.

Chief guest Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid said the bank is working on the development of new entrepreneurs under the “SEIP” project implemented by the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance.

He hopes the new entrepreneurial spirit will help achieve the country’s overall economic growth. He welcomed women entrepreneurs in the financial sector and emphasized that NCC Bank works for the financial inclusion of communities with limited access as well as women entrepreneurs.

Finally, he wished success to the new entrepreneurs who participated in the workshop and hoped that NCC Bank will continue to work for the development of entrepreneurship in the future.
