InspiNest, partner of SYDA to push the development of entrepreneurship
InspiNest, a center based in Sunyani, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Sunyani Youth Development Association (SYDA) to promote youth entrepreneurial innovations to improve their livelihoods.
InspiNest seeks to empower young people to change their mindset towards entrepreneurship through digital platforms.
The MoU also aimed to foster healthy collaborations between the two non-governmental organizations and harness the knowledge and skills of young people through digital innovation.
This would also establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the two organizations and complement each other for the socio-economic empowerment of youth.
Mr. Atta Akoto Senior, President of SYDA and Mr. Felix Dumong, co-founder of InspiNest signed on behalf of their organizations during a short ceremony in Sunyani.
Later in an interview, Mr. Akoto told the GNA that the MoU also aims to help the nation achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
He said SDGs one, two, four, five, eight and 10 remained the Association’s core values and expressed hope that the agreement between the two organizations would help advance and achieve the goals set for global goals.
For his part, Mr. Dumong said the MoU will also strengthen relations in the further development of Sunyani Municipality.
