“The expansion of the Swawlambi Bharat Abhiyan will be discussed at the ongoing SJM national executive here. The abhiyan aims to provide employment through entrepreneurship development and skills development,” he said.
“We will start entrepreneurship development centers in all 773 districts of the country. We will recruit full-time Swawlambi Bharat Abhiyan workers after one year,” he added.
Responding to a question on whether the Union government was doing enough to promote ‘swadeshi’, he said that the Center had launched the ‘Make in India’ initiative in 2014 but it should in fact be “Made by India”.
Programs like Atmanirbhar Bharat help boost indigenous production, he said.
