Entrepreneurship course for children (in person)
This event is part of a special program of events and book exhibits, organized by libraries and archives, to celebrate Black History Month throughout October 2022. The theme is “The time for change: action, not words”. Join us as part of the national celebration of black history, arts and culture in the UK.
Join Pimlico Toy Library and Westminster Libraries this Black History Month for our exciting new Enterprise Kids course. Designed to improve emotional well-being, resilience and resourcefulness, as well as to develop practical skills such as negotiation, presentation and decision-making.
The Enterprise Kids course is designed for children aged 7-11 and will be delivered by DramEd, who will use performing arts to ensure sessions are creative and engaging, as well as educational.
Over the three day course children will explore and develop a number of entrepreneurial and personal development skills including decision making, presentation skills, math and money skills, marketing, learning errors, requesting help and much more.
In recognition of Black History Month, the course will also highlight the achievements of Black British entrepreneurs and role models from other walks of life who represent and celebrate Westminster’s incredibly diverse community.
This event has a limited capacity and places fill up quickly, so book now to avoid disappointment. Please note that all participants must attend all three days of the course.
