MJS co-organizer Dr. Ashwani Mahajan said PTI his organization would also perform the ‘Swawlambi Bharat Abhiyan’ and raise awareness of the need to use local produce to help boost the country’s economy.
”The expansion of the Swawlambi Bharat Abhiyan will be discussed at the ongoing SJM National Executive here. The abhiyan aims to provide jobs through entrepreneurship development and skills development,” he said.
“We will launch entrepreneurship development centers in all 773 districts nationwide. We will recruit full-time Swawlambi Bharat Abhiyan workers after one year,” he added.
Responding to a question on whether the Union government was doing enough to promote ‘swadeshi’, he said that the Center had launched the ‘Make in India’ initiative in 2014 but it should in fact be “Made by India”.
Programs like Atmanirbhar Bharat help boost indigenous production, he said.
