JKRLM’s 5-Day Entrepreneurship Development Training Ends
A five-day training on Entrepreneurship Development (ED) for Non-Farm Livelihood Community Resource Persons (NFL-CRP) promoted under the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM ) ends here at JKRLM’s state office.
The training organized by JKRLM had the participation of 40 NFL-CRPs across Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the conclusion function, Mission Director of Jammu Kashmir Rural Livelihoods Mission (JKRLM), Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar said that the Training of Trainers (ToT) was organized with the aim of creating a group Community Resource Persons (CRP). These select NFL-CRPs will provide last-mile support at the doorsteps of potential rural entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, the Mission Director said that NFL-CRPs are selected from the community where the Umeed program is implemented because they understand the local context and know the business ecosystem of their respective blocks. These NFL-CRPs will play an important role in guiding community-based organizations (CBOs) on business development, market linkages, and support for entrepreneurs.
She briefly explained the seriousness of the five-day ED training program that will equip NFL-CRPs with the legal compliance required for starting a business and also upgrading their existing livelihood to a business of order. superior. The NFL-CRPs will facilitate exposure to entrepreneurs linked to various marketing platforms like Sara’s Fairs, e-marketing, product onboarding on various marketing sites including Gem-Portal.
During a five-day training program from November 15 to November 19, 2021, various resource persons specializing in the field of marketing, branding, value-added, finance, accounting and of various other components needed to develop and refine entrepreneurial traits provided an in-depth course. to the training of trainers.
